The comfortable accommodation in a quiet yet central location on the 2nd floor (no lift) offers fast WiFi and information about the neighbourhood. Use of the garage in the rear courtyard is included, which is very practical and convenient in the lively Rüttenscheid district. Guests will find two single beds measuring 90x200 cm in each of the two bedrooms as well as a workspace each. Bed linen is provided and freshly made up. The comfortable couch in the living room is a wonderful place to relax and a guest can also sleep here if required. Bed linen is also provided here. A Smart TV and a Playstation 4 are available for entertaining evenings. Baby cot and high chair on request and for a fee.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge and freezer, oven, stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, microwave and dishwasher including tabs. Of course, all cooking utensils are also provided. In addition, salt and pepper fresh from the mill as well as 4 different spices and oils are available free of charge, so that nothing stands in the way of a successful dinner. We provide 2 bottles of water and a selection of coffee capsules and 6 types of tea free of charge. A filter coffee machine with coffee powder is also available, as well as coffee cream and sugar. To get you started, we’ll provide an initial supply of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. This is usually enough to last for the first few days. For longer stays, we ask that you replenish any necessary consumables yourself. The large and elegant bathroom offers both a shower and a bathtub with free toiletries. A washing machine with free detergent can also be used. Towels are provided free of charge.

The drive-through width of the garage is approx. 2.32 metres, the hight approx. 2,01 metres and the depth approx. 4.30 metres, whereby there are brackets at the front for hanging up a bicycle and, depending on the make of car, some distance must be kept from the brackets. If your car is longer, you can simply leave the garage door open.

The apartment is centrally located in Essen-Rüttenscheid on the 2nd floor (no elevator), one of the city’s most popular neighborhoods. The well-known Rüttenscheider Straße - known to Essen residents simply as “Rü” - with its numerous restaurants, cafés, bars, bakeries, shops, and shopping options, is just a few minutes’ walk away. Many attractions and key locations are in the immediate vicinity, mostly within walking distance: Messe Essen, Grugapark, downtown, the main train station, the Aalto Theater, the Philharmonie, the Grillo Theater, the Museum Folkwang, and Essen University Hospital.

The apartment provides clearly organized information on nearby attractions and restaurant recommendations, as well as local and long-distance transportation options, to help you get your bearings. Public parking is available on the surrounding streets, as well as in the Museum Folkwang and Philharmonie underground parking garages.
